Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin® are FDA-approved injectable neurotoxins used to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles by relaxing targeted facial muscles. The main differences are in their formulation, onset, and diffusion:

Botox®: The most widely known, suitable for most areas, results in 3-7 days, lasts 3-4 months.

Dysport®: Slightly quicker onset (2-3 days), diffuses more easily— ideal for larger areas like the forehead, lasts 3-4 months.

Xeomin®: “Naked” formula without accessory proteins, which may reduce the risk of developing resistance, onset and duration are similar to Botox®.

The longevity of dermal fillers depends on the specific product used, the area treated, and individual metabolism. Most hyaluronic acid fillers (like Juvederm® and Restylane®) last between 6 and 18 months. Sculptra® is a biostimulatory injectable made from poly-L-lactic acid. Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers (like Juvederm® and Restylane®), which provide immediate volume, Sculptra® gradually stimulates your body’s own collagen production for subtle, long-lasting improvement in facial volume and skin texture. Results appear gradually over several months and can last two years or more. Sculptra® is ideal for clients wanting natural, gradual rejuvenation and improved skin quality, rather than just instant volume.

For sun damage and hyperpigmentation, we often recommend advanced laser treatments like IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) photofacials or fractional non-ablative lasers.
